RoomAI Studio (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates the website roomaistudio.co.uk and its related mobile apps. We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy, under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

We respect your privacy. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to anyone. We only collect what we need to run the service and we keep it only as long as necessary.

Room photos you choose to upload so our AI can re-imagine your space.

Basic usage information, such as the number of free AI designs you have used, which is stored on your own device.

Technical data sent automatically by your browser, such as device type, browser version, and approximate location, used for security and to keep the service working.

Images you upload are compressed on your device and sent securely (encrypted in transit) to the Replicate AI API, which generates your redesigned room.

Your photos are not stored permanently on our servers. Replicate processes each image only to produce your design and removes inputs and outputs from its systems after a short period, in line with its own data retention policy.

A copy of your latest photo may be kept temporarily in your own browser so it survives a page refresh. You can clear it at any time by clearing your browser data.

Purchases of design packs are handled by Stripe, a secure, PCI-DSS certified third-party payment processor. Your card details are entered directly on Stripe’s checkout page.

We never see, receive, or store your full credit or debit card details. We may receive confirmation of a payment (such as the amount and date) so we can apply your credits.

Our catalogue contains affiliate links to retail partners, including through the Awin network. When you click a store link, the retailer and affiliate network may set cookies to record that you came from RoomAI Studio. Their use of your data is governed by their own privacy policies.

We display advertising, including through Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies to show ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can manage personalised advertising at adssettings.google.com.

We rely on trusted providers to run the service: Replicate (AI image processing), Stripe (payments), Awin and retail partners (product data and affiliate tracking), Google (advertising), and our hosting provider. Each processes data only as needed to deliver their part of the service.

We keep personal data only for as long as needed for the purposes above, or as required by law (for example, payment records kept for tax purposes).

Under UK data protection law you have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal data, to object to processing, and to data portability. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).

RoomAI Studio is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page, with the date it was last updated.
